We're still collecting donations

On the 30th October 2020 we'd raised £230 with 8 supporters in 42 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
The completion works needed for our building and facilities has gone out to tender, and we have to 2 quotes £84,700 (full requested works) & £66,200 (works with savings) Sports England have offered £50,000 and the club have raised £4,000. It would be wonderful if we could carry out all of our requested works (£84,700) but we would be more than happy with the second quote with savings, which amounts to £66,200.
Before Covid, the club was host to 90+ children and young adults, 3 times a week but because of safety measures, we can only hold 30 across all the classes, these positions were given to the people whom hold medical cards allowing them to box. This has meant a significant loss in revenue from the subs, which means a slow down in our ability to renew much needed equipment and also be able to offer more money towards the completion works.
Waterloo ABC is a registered Community Interest Company, which means that every penny that we have is reinvested into the club to enable all to benefit, and we look forward to being able to accommodate more youths again and continue to change lives.
