Walking Out Of Darkness is BACK!!

World Mental Health Day – Sunday 10 October 2021

This year, the ‘Walking Out Of Darkness’ event in London on World Mental Health Day (Sunday 10 October 2021) is dedicated to ‘ALL’ Mental Health Charities across London and UK working with the NHS, local Public Health plus Community services to assist and support people with mental ill-health disabilities as well as people experiencing mental health distress.

The last 18 months has been a challenge to the health and wellbeing of millions of people. COVID, lockdowns and restrictions have caused emotional and mental distress to countless people across the country, as well as around the World. 

With the support of Thrive LDN (the Mayor of London and the London Health Board, citywide movement for mental health), we invite everyone to come together and show support for local and regional mental health charities that have worked with limited funds during lockdowns and their volunteers, who have at times been overwhelmed by emotional and mental health crisis calls in our communities and neighbourhoods. 

The ‘Walking Out Of Darkness’ event are not about one charity but everyone uniting to assist, fundraise and support Mental Health Charities, whilst raising Mental Health Awareness and Equality rights for people with mental health disabilities.
