Raise money for roof repairs at All Saints church Canterbury, so the church can carry on serving its community

by Angela Swindley in Canterbury, England, United Kingdom

The roof of our Victorian church is leaking and must be repaired if the congregation is to continue with its outstanding support of the neighbourhood around it.  Every Friday there is a Community Hub providing emergency relief and access to a range of other community services, from social prescribing to support with finding work. The congregation and PCC continues to work hard to find a range of sources of funding, and every penny counts.

I am intending to get to the top of Snowdon, and down again (on foot, not on the train!).  This will be the first time I have attempted walking up a mountain since having spinal surgery two and a half years ago.  This will be a personal milestone, as well as hopefully raising money for our church.
