Rebuilding Christmas!
Last year I walked the South West Coastal Path (630 miles) via the End to End Virtual Challenge. Every day I input the miles I've walked and can see where I am along the route.
Anyone who knows me well, knows how much I dislike exercise! I would always prefer to be in my PJs in front of the telly!
However, I do appreciate the good effects it has on my health and well-being. As an added incentive for both accountability and in an effort to raise a bit of money for the individuals that Rebuild East Midlands (www.rebuildproject.org) works with, I thought I would try to up my game!
Therefore this year, I will be trying to complete the Lands End To John O’ Groats Virtual Challenge. This is an 874 mile route from the bottom of the UK (Lands End) to the top of the UK (John O’Groats); the length of the UK. (https://endtoend.run/virtual-walking-challenges/)
As I am hoping to complete this by Christmas time 2023, any money I raise will go towards our Rebuild Christmas activities, which many of our individuals would not experience otherwise: craft activities, festive party, food parcel, gifts, etc
I will put regular updates on Facebook regarding my progress.
