PKAVS (Perth & Kinross Association of Voluntary Service) is a local wellbeing charity – the largest in Perth & Kinross! We've been supporting people for over 50 years and now help more than 7,000 people every year.
We work with unpaid carers and the cared for at our Carers Service, people facing mental health challenges at the Walled Garden and Wisecraft, families in poverty (through our Big Hoose project), people with mobility issues at Shopmobility, and communities who need help to thrive (the Third Sector Interface). Behind these five services are our dedicated and compassionate staff who work hard to make a difference every day.
That’s why support from Aviva volunteers is so valuable. By sharing your time, skills, and energy, you’ll be helping us build a stronger, smarter, and more resilient charity. With your help, we can invest more in our services, upskill our team, and ultimately reach more people in need.
Volunteering with PKAVS also offers a rewarding opportunity for you to engage with a local cause, strengthen team bonds, and make a real difference in your community. Whether you’re contributing individually or as part of a team, you’ll see the impact of your support firsthand, and leave knowing you’ve helped improve people's lives in Perth & Kinross.
