Interested in Team Volunteering but Not Sure Where to Start?

If you're looking to volunteer as a team but aren't sure where to begin, or if you have specific requirements and need assistance securing the perfect volunteering day, we’re here to help!

At Volunteering Matters, we specialise in delivering bespoke team volunteering opportunities across the UK. Whether you're a local team looking to volunteer in your area or a group coming together from multiple locations, we can support your unique needs.

Our tailored service is designed to handle even the most complex requests, accommodating various team sizes and diverse volunteer needs. We take care of all the logistics, removing the stress, time, and risk, so you can focus on making a positive impact.

Why Choose Us?

  • Tailored Volunteering: We align your team’s social impact goals with real, tangible community needs, ensuring your volunteering makes a meaningful difference.
  • Nationwide Coverage: Operating across the UK, we ensure high-quality volunteer opportunities no matter where your team is based.
  • Seamless Experience: From start to finish, we manage every detail to ensure a smooth, successful volunteering day.

Process & Timeline

To ensure we deliver the best experience for your team, we typically require an 8-12 week lead time from enquiry to execution. Once you submit your request, a dedicated Local Engagement Manager will be assigned to your project, overseeing the entire process and ensuring all your needs are met.

Important: Once we appoint an Engagement Manager, we kindly ask that you cease exploring alternative options and engage exclusively with our services.

Site Visit

To finalise the logistical planning and risk assessment for the day, a site visit will be required, lasting approximately 30-45 minutes. The person attending the site visit must also be present on the volunteering day to ensure everything runs smoothly.

What we are looking for

An ideal volunteer is compassionate, dependable and has a positive outlook, as well as a genuine commitment to contributing to the community and making a difference.

Volunteers should possess a strong sense of empathy, are willing to work collaboratively, and are open to learning new skills.

What difference this will make

Volunteering can have a profound impact, both practically and personally. Indoors or outdoors, volunteers contribute directly to meaningful projects, helping improve communities or providing vital support where it's needed. Interactive opportunities allow volunteers to engage with diverse groups, fostering stronger connections and collaboration. Additionally, volunteering offers a chance to share skills, enhancing personal development and empowering others through knowledge transfer, creating lasting benefits for individuals and the community alike. Through these activities, volunteers not only make a difference but also grow in their own lives and careers.
