Big Mac Fried & Gone

Aim: My iMac is a tiny brained, crashing, frustrating thing that doesn't cope with what I throw at it.

Hi all, 

Many of you know already know, I'm doing a BA in photography at long last. I just completed the second year. BUT, I've hit a major snag, my Mac isn't working properly.

When my old Mac died I replaced it with what I could afford at the time; an 8GB RAM iMac. I'm constantly having to delete things but it's given up the ghost a bit lately and keeps crashing. Not only that but I accidentally knocked it and the corner smashed!!! I mean...COME ON! 

No amount of sitting in the garden manifesting will help, I need to replace my Little Mac for a Big Mac; one that can cope with the Creative Cloud software and my workload. I'm struggling to get anything done and I've got paid gigs to work through. It's become a bit of a glorified oversized smartphone; only good for social media and doom scrolling!

So I'm asking you lot for help. £800 is my goal; that would get me a Mac Mini and a monitor.

ANY donation would be really welcome. I'm also applying for University grants, bursaries and any other funding avenues, but it takes time. I'm in a bit of a bind financially so I'm reaching out. It's a BIG ask.
