Vital repairs to keep our club open

Aim: To allow our beloved club to keep it's doors open for many years to come and pass the legacy on to the next generation

Who are we are a local rugby club based in one of the most deprived areas of Salford our club is a vital lifeline to many people young and old where people come and feel safe if it's just to play sports or just socialize there is always a friendly welcome for everyone that comes through our doors. Since the pandemic we have struggled financially to keep our doors open if this club was to close I can assure you that it would have a devastating effect on the community.

Why are we crowdfunding?

[upload an image here] The reason for trying to raise funds is to keep our doors open to raise funds for vital repairs the main one being the upkeep of vital repairs to the clubhouse roof which there are leaks all over the clubhouse.

How we’ll spend the money raised

It’s important to be transparent about how you plan to spend the money you raise. Your audience will be more likely to make a pledge if they can see how their donation will help.

Community impact

It’s important to explain the wider impact of your organisation for the whole community, who does it benefit and why? Perhaps your facilities are used for other purposes outside of sport too?

[upload an image here] Many people young and old rely on our facilities even if it's just to visit play sports we have a local Morris dance group who rely on our facilities to train also a football team for young people. Our club benefits the community massively to encourage people to take part in many activities and to keep people off the streets .

2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.

3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
