Visions Leisure Centre New Fun Swim

Aim: Replace inflatable fun swim perished during lockdown greatly missed by our young people very popular as an active social pool event
We are a community led Leisure Centre and Registered Scottish Charity. We built the centre after fundraising the sum of £2.3 million to build Visions in Cumnock. Visions Leisure Centre opened 18 years ago. We were financially badly affected during lockdown with closure for almost 2 years. During this time we incurred expense of keeping pool and plant operating whilst we had no income. Our fun swim was very popular prior to pandemic giving young people a safe and inclusive place to go to have fun. When we had an inspection to hopefully put it back into service it was perished and had to be scraped. We hope to raise money via kiltwalk and crowdfunding at this time to be able to purchase a new one at a cost of £5,400. It is so popular and we and the young people are disapointed we cannot provide this fun activity without the inflatable.
