We're still collecting donations
On the 17th July 2020 we'd raised £517 with 13 supporters in 14 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
There are young families living in refuges who have fled domestic violence-I’m raising funds to get them laptops so they can homeschool.

Every penny over and above what’s needed to buy laptops will go to Solace women’s aid, administered by Waltham Forest Council.
At any one time, there are families who have had to flee their home because the domestic abuse has got too much. As if this isn’t traumatic enough, these families lives are now doubly disrupted because the children can’t go to school due to the covid-19 pandemic. While everyone is pulling together to try and help the children learn, there are no laptops for them to learn which is a huge handicap. Every woman I’ve spoken to who has experienced domestic violence never thought they’d have to be in the situation of fleeing their own home for fear of their life. Education is known to help break the cycle of violence-these childnre’s life chances and happiness are being damaged every day that they are unable to learn and that’s where you come in.
As a musician, I can only do what I know to help and that’s make music. Through the magic of social media, I can busk from my living room (seeing as Abbey Road studios are currently unavailable :-) So if you like the video, please chuck a pound in my virtual hat. Every penny will go to Solace Women’s Aid, towards getting laptops to help the children continue their education-any money left over will be donated directly to the refuge.
