Vinnie’s vet bill

Aim: I’m looking to raise enough money for my cat Vinnie to get a MRI scan at a specialist neurological vets

Hi, my names Harry and my cat is called Vinnie, he is a 2 years old Siamese kitty.

Vinnie has recently been very ill, unable to walk and uncontrollable bladder, his back legs and spine have lost all muscle and stability due to not exercising, he now has leg tremors and head stammer's.

His bladder issue has now caused an infection to his genitalia as he is urinating and unable to clean himself, I do bathe him to help however this a still a constant issue.

went to our vets who advised he may need a CT scan or an MRI, we did get a second opinion as our vets advised they wouldn’t be able to tell us for definite what the problem was.

we booked another vet who then referred us to a specialist neurological vets, we have been advised today that the consultation fee will cost £275 and the MRI scan will cost £2500 - £3000 to which we don’t have.

we are on the healthy pet club which I assumed was pet insurance, however they are not and do not help cover the cost of any neurological imaging.
