We rescue a variety of animals and give them a permanent home with a vegan family. We self fund but doing the right thing can prove costly

We are a vegan couple woth a passion for animals.

We strongly believe in animal rights, in fact our love of animals and theor protection is how we met.

Over time we have slowly rescued more and more animals, giving many a second chance at life. Doing what we think is the right thing no matter the cost. We have done this entirely self funded, we moved home with the aim to rescue more and provide a safe space for those that we call family.

Currently we are currently home to 31 family members, from ex battery hens and turkeys saved terrible conditions to a cat, dogs and a few others.

In recent years we've experienced some significant vet bills to help give those we've rescued the best chance at life without "giving up on them", decisions we have and never will regret. Such as self funding radiotherapy to give one of our rescued dogs a chance to live and live he did. Vets gave him 6 months with very expensive treatment. But it was the right thing to do, which we were proved right to do as he lived on for 2 amazing years. Along with other serious cases.

While this has helped numerous of our rescued family members to live longer happy lives it has come at a cost to us. Our vet are well over £30,000, we have never asked anyone to help us and feel torn asking now but we fear that of we don't we will not be able to help others to have the same chance at life.

Any help no matter how small to reduce these bills would be amazing ans enable us to continue to save those that need a second chance
