USP CIC Reform Horsebox Cafe
By creating opportunity for individuals entrenched in criminal activity we are proving that we can support reform. By offering purposeful activity in renovating an old Horsebox, and creating business opportunity for food and beverage - we are offering an alternative to criminal activity. This project is so much more than this- delivered by people with lived experience we offer coaching and mentoring to these individuals , developing their confidence and self esteem and helping them believe in themselves and realise their own potential. We offer learning in practical trade skills, supporting into employment and health and wellbeing. As a self funded project and as a Not For Profit, reliant on support from the community - we need help to complete this pilot! With an imininet local authority visit to sign off food standards we are still falling short on a number of things ( starting with the wheel that fell off on our first outing ) including : stainless steel work top , sink / wash facilities , jacket potato oven, coffee machine , refrigeration and more. We would be so grateful if you can spare any resource towards this pilot , be part of the journey and prove that reform is the new hustle!
