Dear friends, kind souls, and compassionate strangers,
I am reaching out to you with a desperate plea for help during this incredibly challenging time for my family.
My child, who is both autistic and epileptic, is my entire world. Despite the many challenges they face daily, their courage and resilience inspire me beyond words. However, we are currently facing a significant hurdle that threatens our future together.
We urgently need to raise £2897 to cover the cost of my child’s visa application. This is a critical step to ensure we can remain together as a family in a safe environment where my child can access the care, education, and resources needed to thrive.
Our journey has been far from easy. Due to the severity of my child’s epilepsy, my wife was forced to resign from her job to care for him full-time. This has left us with only one income, which is already stretched to cover essential medical costs, therapies, and daily living expenses.
To make matters even more difficult, our visa states that we have no recourse to public funds, meaning we cannot access government support such as Disability Living Allowance (DLA) or other financial assistance. This has left us completely reliant on our own limited resources, which have now been exhausted.
Why Your Support Matters:
- Visa Application Fees: To secure our right to remain together as a family.
- Basic Stability: To ensure we can meet essential living expenses as we navigate this difficult period.
Every single contribution—no matter how small—will make an incredible difference in our lives. Your support will bring us closer to securing a future where my child can access the care and stability they desperately need.
Even if you are unable to contribute financially, simply sharing our story with your network could be a lifeline for us.
From the depths of our hearts, thank you for your compassion, generosity, and for taking the time to read our story. Together, we can overcome this challenge and give my child the safe, loving future he deserves.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Ola
