Hi, my name is Uzma and I am a primary school teacher in the UK. Basel and his family are dear friends and in desperate need of help and assistance at the moment.

 Below is a message from Basel:

Hello, my friends.

I am Basel from Gaza, 33 years old. I am making an urgent appeal for assistance for me and my family of eight. This request is for urgent shelter and food assistance.

My family and I lost our three-story home in northern Gaza during the Israeli war on us.

We are currently looking for a new place to live.

 We desperately need your support to help us provide a new shelter after our home was destroyed.

We also ask for your urgent assistance to provide food, especially flour.

Today, all people in Gaza are suffering from famine, and every day people are dying due to food shortages. We really need your support to provide food.
