Daytrippers Bolton has been creating unforgettable days out for families with children who have disabilities for over 20 years. Our dedicated team of volunteers organises subsidised activities and provides free transport, ensuring these families can enjoy inclusive, fun-filled experiences without financial strain.
Our vision is to continue offering these vital services and prevent our closure due to funding challenges. The money raised will cover operational costs, maintain our transport services and subsidise the activities, ensuring that we can keep bringing joy and respite to these families.
Your support will help us sustain and expand our efforts, ensuring that more families can create cherished memories together. Join us in making a difference!
Here's what the families that Daytrippers support, have to say:
"I joined Daytrippers when my boys were very young. We moved to Bolton and we have no family here. Meeting other families has provided us with support and friends."
"Being part of Daytrippers has helped me a lot. I have gained invaluable skills to help my children, just by connecting with other families who have gone through the process of having young children with autism."
"Daytrippers have enabled myself and my son to access trips and sessions that I would not otherwise be able to access. Also, meeting other parents and socialising really helps with mental health. Thank you, Daytrippers!"
