I’m Manish Gupta, founder of UrbanNeed — a tech startup dedicated to transforming the way local home services are accessed in the UK. With years of experience in tech and business, I saw firsthand how fragmented and inefficient the local services market is. UrbanNeed aims to simplify this by building a trusted, AI-powered platform that connects customers with verified, skilled service providers nearby — whether it’s electricians, plumbers, beauticians, or home cooks.

Our vision is to become the UK’s leading one-stop platform for all home services, empowering both customers and service professionals. We want to create a seamless, reliable, and transparent experience that saves time, reduces hassle, and supports local businesses and freelancers to grow sustainably.

The funds raised will be strategically invested in:

Accelerating technology development to enhance our booking system and AI matching algorithms

Marketing and customer acquisition campaigns to grow our user base in initial launch cities (London, Luton & Birmingham)

Onboarding and vetting up to 500 service providers to ensure quality and trust

Building a secure admin and service provider dashboard for smooth operations

Preparing for expansion into new cities across the UK within the next 12–18 months
