Unlocked: Chorlton Park 24/7/21

raised so far

24/7/21 Unlocked: let's go to the park, enjoy some live music, see friends, dance, picnic, bring the fam, enjoy the end of the restrictions.

We're still collecting donations

On the 13th August 2021 we'd raised £1,190 with 74 supporters in 28 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

New stretch target

We want to pay musicians to play.

We'd like to get visual artists involved.

We'd like to expand the project to include more community groups.

Basically, the more we raise, the better the event will be.

Who knows, this could become an annual event that grows year on year...

It feels like it has been so long since we could enjoy live music outdoors. To mark the end of the restrictions we are staging Unlocked in Chorlton Park.

We want this event to be free to attend. Everyone is welcome, come and join us for a picnic in the park.

As event professionals, so many of us have been out of work, we have also been unable to bring the joy of live music to people as we were so used to. Bands have been unable to play. Speakers have been gathering dust.

This is not a money making venture, the production team are willing to put in the hours simply because we want to do it, musicians are in a similar position. However, there are costs that need to be covered. Anything that you can give at this stage will ensure that the event can go ahead. We would like to pay the bands and artists as well as the infrastructure providers.

Please support this event now so that you can join in for free on 24th July.
