Over the course of December, I'll be running 100km, the distance between Warwick (last year's UniBrass venue) and Cardiff (this year's venue) in aid of UniBrass, supporting young brass banders across the country. Coincidentally, I'll literally start running in England and will be back home in sunny Wales by the end of the month.
UniBrass supports the creation and continuation of university brass bands, helping consolidate a long future of brass banding. They provide opportunities for young composers and musicians to develop, bridging the gap between school and youth groups and adult brass bands. They help the best bands in the country (such as Durham Uni Brass Band) to keep running.
Altogether, they're a molto fun charity and a great cause. :)
