I am running an Ultramarathon to raise money for the Samaritans in memory of my good friend Matt who lost his battle to depression last year
Myself and Matt played in Football, Cricket and Basketball teams together and we completed our Gold Duke Of Edinburgh expeditions. He was a great guy who sadly lost his battle with Depression and took his own life. This should not be an option for anybody in any circumstances and the Samaritans are a fantastic Charity who support people going through tough times.
I wanted to enter this event in memory of Matt as I have fantastic memories from our Expeditions in the Peak District and this event is the ultimate Cross Country challenge across 50 miles of the Lake District
