Who are we?

We are the Howden Warhorses U12s Basketball Team. We are a group of hardworking and dedicated young people who train and compete  2 to 3 times a week.

Why are we crowdfunding?

We are raising money to purchase a Veo sports analysis camera to accelerate the progress of the young players. It will enable them to be able to better learn  and analyse their Team and individual performances at trg and games 

How we’ll spend the money raised

We will be purchasing a VEO video analysis camera and then a video analysis software package to track and analyse all of our games. The camera costs £1099 to purchase then their is a pricing plan as well from £40 to £60 per month. 

Community impact

As a basketball provider we are the only club between the major population centers of Yorkshire that is offering basketball that covers so many small rural villages and towns. This increased provision of an indoor community focused sport for all is adding value to the lives of the rural communities that we reach offering physical activity, team work, companionship and offering constructive activities to an under-served population base. 

How you can play your part

There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.

2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.

3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!

4. Fundraise for us. If you want to run your own fundraiser – maybe a sponsored activity or similar – use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
