On the 6th April 2021 we'd raised £305 with 11 supporters in 28 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Who we are:
We are TurnThePage, a group of the University of Westminster students specialising in both management and finance. We are working with the charity NewLife to generate funds through a crowdfunding campaign. We have chosen crowdfunding due to its mass audience capabilities and the opportunities of reaching an open market as opposed to a closed market. Our team consists of five hard-working members, Anna Alexey, Hamisha Santilal, Duaij AlMannai, Sean Fenton and Yumiko Saraie driven by results with experience from taking up ventures outside of a university setting.
Who we work with:
NewLife is a charity specialising in care for disabled children, offering services including; Care Services, a Free Helpline, Equipment Grants and Loans as well as Play Therapy Pods. As well as this they provide universities and study groups with grants and funding into disability research to help improve the lives of future children.
They have been able to raise £15,753,372 to put towards research grants.
Rewards:
We have researched rewards for those who donate a given amount;
£10 = a bag of branded sweets
£25 = a NewLife branded t-shirt
£40 - £50 = a knitted nurse, created by the support workers.
