What we do
Turn Around Toys Bexley is a non-profit organisation that is devoted to making a positive impact in our community. Our mission is clear: rescuing unwanted toys and giving them a new lease on life. We understand the joy that toys bring to children, and we are determined to ensure that no toy goes to waste.
We rescue toys that are no longer being used or that are broken. Instead of allowing these toys to end up in landfills, we believe in the power of repurposing. We refurbish and repair toys to the best of our ability.
We firmly believe that every child should have the opportunity to experience the wonder of play, regardless of their circumstances. That is why all our refurbished toys are donated to deserving local families and organisations for free.
With your support we can keep on buying the spare parts, paint, glue, tools, batteries, and cleaning products that make our work possible.
Join us in our mission to make sure no toy goes to waste, and together, let’s create a world where all children have the chance to play and thrive.
Real reviews
“I came across Turn Around Toys on Facebook and thought it was a fantastic idea!
“I run a very small pack away preschool in Bexley and often find we just do not have spare funds to just go and buy toys unfortunately. But being able to adopt toys through you, it’s been amazing!
“We hope to be able to give back to you too by providing you disused or broken toys we no longer use and then these can then be recycled and given to other members of the community.
“This idea of recycling and reusing toys is a great way forward to help the environment too.
“Please keep doing it! We think you are doing an amazing job!”

“When I saw on Facebook your plans to upcycle old toys and play equipment I thought it was a fantastic idea – so good environmentally and reducing waste. I applied to adopt a Peppa Pig dressing table and I immediately thought of one of our Mums at Howbury Tumblers who has a young daughter.
“We know she is struggling as a lone parent – we have tried to support her financially by letting her come to Howbury Tumblers for free but she sometimes can’t even raise the bus fare to attend. I know Christmas can be hard – so I applied for the item and duly collected it. I also donated an old unloved toy kitchen to pass on to someone else.
“We have sensitively spoken to the Mum who was delighted with the idea. We are going to deliver the Peppa Pig dressing table to her before Christmas and we have ordered a play dressing table set to go with it. Her little one loves Peppa Pig so I’m sure this will be a treasured item – and reduce stress for the Mum in the very hard times we are all going through (but some worse than others). Thank you for this opportunity to work in partnership with you and pass on the joy to those most in need.”
