The Next Steps: 

To achieve our aims and objectives, TSSA members and friends have organised the Walkathon on 20th October 2024.

The walk will start at Tower Bridge at 10 a.m. and end by 2 p.m. It covers a 10 km radius from Tower Bridge to St James's Park, and all risk assessments and public liability insurance are in place. See the flyer and map of the intended walk below.

Who are we?

Tamils Schools Sports Association UK is an independent, charitable collective organisation of old student associations serving Tamil schools in Sri Lanka over the last 30 years, with 33 affiliated OSAs.

Our aims and Objectives are:

a) To promote, encourage and organize sporting activities, competitions and similar activities for the benefit of the Old Students and among Old Students Associations in the United Kingdom.
b) To work for the welfare and advancement of Tamil Schools and Old Students Associations.
c) To develop a constructive relationship with Tamil Schools and Old Students Associations and to affiliate with other organizations to advance the TSSA (UK) objectives.
d) To undertake fundraising activities to promote the TSSA (UK) interests.
e) To undertake and engage in any activity to further the aforesaid objectives.
 f) TSSA (UK) shall be a non-profit making organization and shall not engage in any political activity or apply its funds towards a political purpose.

Why are we crowdfunding?

Educate a healthy lifestyle. To provide coaching facilities and encourage youngsters to excel in their sporting careers.

To support the costs of building a sports academy for the Tamil people in the north and east of Sri Lanka.

 To support the costs of providing sports camps for young students outside school hours, promote grassroots sports and hold competitions.

Community Impact

Structure the academy's courses to enable sports officials, teachers and coaches to be educated and trained in English and Tamil.
