TSC Tonbridge Dragon Boat Race 2025

Aim: Team TSC will be raising vital funds for TSC and in Pam Mill's memory - The British Heart Foundation and Hospice in the Weald charities.

Team TSC will be taking to the murky Medway waters onboard a Dragon Boat on September 7th 2025. It will be a real test of resilience and strength as we take on many local teams during this extremely popular community event in Tonbridge, Kent. 

We are hoping to raise vital funds for both the club and in the name of our dearly missed former President, Pam Mill's memory, for charities close to her heart, The British Heart Foundation/Hospice in the Weald. The donations will be shared equally between these charities (25% each) and TSC 50%.

Our goals are to be a competitive team whilst raising awareness for The British Heart Foundation and Hospice in the Weald.

Tonbridge Swimming Club provides all swimmers, young and old, the opportunity to swim for fitness or competition at all levels up to and including some recently at international level.

We seek funds to assist us in combating the ever-increasing costs of participating in the sport so we can keep our fees at affordable levels and, at the same time, raise monies for The British Heart Foundation and Hospice in the Weald.

The British Hearts Foundations vision is a world where everyone has a healthier heart for longer. BHF is the biggest independent funder of research into cardiovascular disease in the UK. We want to power the next breakthroughs in diagnosing, treating, and preventing the world’s biggest killer.

Hospice in the Weald provides care completely free of charge to patients with a terminal illness, and those important to them, in West Kent and northern East Sussex. This means they are there 24 hours a day to help, support and care for patients with an illness where a cure is no longer possible, and for patients who will at some stage die from their illness, whenever that may be (you may hear this referred to as “palliative care”).
