We are the Trossachs and Teith Community Sport and Social Hub (SCIO), a registered Scottish charity (SC051580).
The organisation has been formed for the public benefit of the community of Callander and its surrounding villages with the purpose of;
The advancement of public participation in sport through the provision of opportunities for people living in the community, to be involved either through volunteering, employability or playing various sports.
The provision of recreational facilities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended.
The advancement of community development.
We actively promote equality and diversity in everything we do and hope to remove barriers to ensure everyone can get involved.
What we are already doing:
Providing multisport activities in all primary schools within the area
Providing access rurally to sports via new community sports hubs
Providing outdoor play and learning to children via local Forest Kindergarten sessions
Running forest sessions for primary schools
Running a regular free (funded) outdoor playgroup for families
