Aim: I want to create a little nature friendly garden for the local community to enjoy.
Hi! My name is Steph Pope, and I have started a community garden project (next to the Primary School on Trinity Road) for the local community to enjoy.
The focus of the garden is to:
🌺Attract wildlife.
🌺Encourage local schoolchildren to visit/get involved.
🌺Create a lovely space to sit & relax!
I aim to reuse materials where possible (and give my time freely), but I require funding for essentials. For example:
⭐️Wood for a fence along the front.
⭐️Sand, cement and gravel for a small path for safe access.
⭐️Plants and seeds to make the space beautiful and wildlife friendly.
⭐️Bark chippings to keep the plants healthy.
⭐️Paint for the furniture and other garden items.
⭐️Wool (to keep Gill knitting).
