Our work is focused on music and theatre, but our fundamental principle is quality: we are opening up access to a brilliant variety of contemporary work in all genres.

Tring Productions was set up by a group of professional musicians, writers and performers to support original and innovative performing arts in Tring and the surrounding area.
Our work is focused on music and theatre, but our fundamental principle is quality, with an interest in first-rate contemporary work and new writing in all genres. As well as giving opportunities to local professionals, our activities will provide support to aspiring artists and young people at the start of their careers, offering experience and exposure.
Our activities to date have included our winter online recital series Music By The Fire, which gave local professionals a paid performance opportunity during the national lockdown and brought music to a wide audience (with over 2,500 individual hits across the series) at a time when live performance was impossible. In May 2021 we launched our first Young Filmmakers’ Competition.
Future plans include further concerts, the long-awaited production of new musical Infants by local composer James Lark, a cabaret showcasing a full range of local talent, and scratch nights for local writers and performers to try out work in front of a friendly crowd.
