 New stretch target

We are so grateful for the support our project received so far! This goal will allow us to secure even more money for our daily living costs and further improve our marketing, making it easier for us to succeed at Fringe even with the early morning slot. If we manage to go up to £900 we will change the split between our two goals to £500 spent for costs of living and £400 for marketing.

We are a group of students from Warwick University coming to the Edinburgh Fringe with our show called Trashed written by Lizzie Hart and Daisy Sparks. It is a play that focuses on the heartache, sweetness and bitterness of female friendships, toxic relationships, and the growing pains of young adulthood. It is a contemporary and realistic story of vivid, complicated female characters– of which there are desperately few. You can  find our show on the official Fringe website (click here!), where you can also buy tickets to one of our performances.

We have been incredibly lucky to receive some funding from our university that made our participation in the festival possible. However, with the ever increasing costs of Fringe, there are still some costs that we have not managed to cover so far. Our goal with this fundraiser is to raise £600 in total, including:

-  £200 for marketing to further boost our efforts on social media and afford more flyers and stickers to share on the Royal Mile;

- £400 to cover the cost of living.*

We are all students, and many of us normally dedicate our summer to working - there is no guarantee that we will gain any money from the Fringe, and so we want to ensure that we can ever so slightly subsidise the living costs for our team. This will include covering the costs of public transport, food shops, refills to our first-aid kit or basic toiletries for the house - in general, making sure that the festival does not pose too much of a financial burden on our team.

We are hoping to continue making theatre together after the festival and hopefully one day turn it all into our profession. Trashed is one of our steps into this direction - and so we will be extremely grateful for any financial support we are able to get!

*if we do not manage to raise the full amount, we will still divide the funds between the two goals, using 1/3 for marketing and 2/3 for the costs of living.

Over £200 million has been raised from our crowd to support the projects they love! Plus tens of millions more unlocked by our partners.
