Meow Paws North Macedonia is a rescue based in Skopje and registered as a charity the UK. We work in partnership to raise funds to support their work rescuing and rehoming stray cats and dogs. There are very few safe shelters, foster homes adoption homes in North Macedonia and many, many strays living in danger on the streets.
As well as providing food, regular worming treatment and vaccinations, veterinary care and a neutering programme, Meow Paws try to find permanent homes for the most vulnerable animals who would otherwise not survive on the street.
We need help to pay the transport companies for this. The cats and dogs travel with properly registered animal transport companies which cost approximately £500 (depending on the size of the animal).
We need to send cats and dogs to safe foster care where they can be assessed in a family home. There, we can allow them to decompress and recover from their travel and settle in, meet other cats, dogs, adults and children so we are better able to match them with their perfect forever home.
