Who are we?
Lutterworth Town AFC are a team of first-class players, parents, volunteers and FA qualified coaches.
We have 150 children registered from the age of 7 upto 18 and train on different days of the week for usually 1 hour and the weekends are busy with matchdays.
Why are we crowdfunding?
We are crowdfunding to be able to purchase training kit for every child registered to the club, this matches our club ethos that we value everyone and that everyone should be treated the same and look the same.
Each child is currently wearing their own kit but we want to provide kit so people from the community know who we are.
How we’ll spend the money raised
The money will be used to purchase and issue each child with a Puma training kit which can then be worn on training sessions and to be kept and maintained by each player.
The cost to provide each player is £1,500 as the club has 150 children currently registered and an average cost of £10 per player.
Community impact
Lutterworth Town AFC are a small community amateur sports club which receive very minimum funding to enable us to progress. With each child having their own training kit will show the community what impact funding can have and what difference it makes to a child.
