MARCA LDA, spearheaded by Marcolino Canganjo, is a pioneering company in Angola with a deep commitment to technological innovation and infrastructure development. Based in the province of Huambo, we have established ourselves as leaders in the design and production of advanced traffic management solutions. Our unique innovation in mobile and fixed traffic lights has positioned us at the forefront of transforming Angola’s traffic systems.

Our Idea:
Our initiative, the Traffic Lights and Technologies Factory, represents a significant leap towards modernizing Angola’s road infrastructure. This project involves the local production of traffic lights, traffic signs, poles, batteries, lamps, wires, and electronic advertising boards. By setting up a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, we aim to address several critical needs:

How We Will Use the Funds:
To bring this vision to life, we seek financing for the following essential components:
Annual Salaries: Ensuring that we can attract and retain skilled workers is crucial. The funds will cover the initial annual salaries for our team, enabling them to focus on producing high-quality products.
Acquisition of Raw Materials: Purchasing raw materials is fundamental to our production process. The funds will ensure we have a steady supply of materials needed for manufacturing traffic lights and related components.
Laboratory Equipment: To maintain high standards and innovate continuously, we need advanced laboratory equipment. This equipment will support the development and testing of new products and technologies.
Office Furniture: Comfortable and functional office furniture is necessary to efficiently operate our administrative and management teams.
Property Rent: The funds will cover the rent for the facility where our and administrative activities will take place. 
Transport: Efficient transportation is critical for logistics, both for sourcing raw materials and distributing finished products. This includes vehicles for internal logistics and external deliveries.

PROBLEM: There is a lack of signaling in the provinces of Angola, the emergence of new locations, population and vehicle growth, accidents between motor vehicles, motorcycles and people with worsening disabilities, trauma, deaths in families, due to a lack of signaling equipment, pathways. To reduce accidents, the Government adapts the scale of traffic regulatory agents such as monitors of road intersections or imports of traditional traffic light equipment with high taxes, acquisition costs that, when installed, work for a short period and are inoperative with little chance of maintenance.
THE SOLUTION: The solution is the national production of low-cost portable and fixed Tricolor spotlight traffic lights, with neighboring installation and maintenance guarantees to reduce accidents in the country. Inside each traffic light spotlight, three circles of LEDs are designed, green, yellow and red, where the light emission depends on the type of LED circle activated by the controller circuit that supports the developed and object-oriented programming for separating the signaling time intervals. Initially, the project will provide traffic lights: Fixed with Vertical pole, fixed with Parabolic pole, and Mobile.
THE COMPETITION: Direct competitors are local companies that import traffic lights traditional and indirect competitors are foreign producers of the aforementioned equipment.
Strengths of the solution: reduced number of circuits and spotlights, low cost, simplicity of installation, neighboring maintenance guarantee, the shade visor of each one of the spotlights itself is a solar power generator that self-powers itself system.
Weaknesses: the solution is not yet well known by its target audience. Traditional traffic lights are imported abroad, in addition to the set of auxiliary circuits, solar panels incorporated into poles, heavy large dimensions, desiring high costs of acquisitions, imports, payments of taxes, feature focus groups with independent green-light spotlights, yellow and red, which influences the high number of structures on each post of traffic lights, increased acquisition costs and little chance of maintenance.
