Aim: A revolution looks different through every lens - Tomorrow Does Not Exist is one such story. Help us bring it to life.

When you scroll through this section, you will see all the work that has been put into making this film come alive to the best of our efforts. The references and actual shots, the inspirations drawn from, and the actual footage we have worked to capture during the shoot. We need your help to make it to the finish line. We are crowdfunding to give this film the proper treatment it needs for post-production

The trailer as you see it - looks complete, but the film is far from it. We need music, colour grading, VFX and much more to enhance the entire experience and say our story with the fullest authenticity.

NARRATIVE INSPIRATIONS from Short Stories and Books

The short film is a loose adaptation of a short story "Inside The Berlin Wall (柏林圍城)" written by Arthur Lai, the writer/director of the film, in which he told a fictional story of the last person who died trying to cross the Berlin Wall being visited by a time traveller one day before his escape attempt. The film is also partly inspired by George Orwell's book "Homage to Catalonia", in which he accounts his personal experiences fighting alongside leftist militias in the Spanish Civil War.

Some inspirations and quotes from Charles Dickens's "A Tale of Two Cities" and Slavoj Žižek's "The Sublime Object of Ideology"
