Over the last 10 years I have worked hard for the communities of Marhamchurch, Poundstock as well as Bude-Stratton.
As an Independent candidate I will not have the significant resources available to me that will be accessible to those standing as party candidates. With the help of small donations I hope to raise sufficient resources to meet the cost of printing leaflets & posters.

If elected to Cornwall Council I will:
Be open honest & transparent in all my work as a Councillor.
Continue the hard work to complete the Hele Valley Trail (HVT) project. I lead Marhamchurch Parish Council's (MPC) objective to bring the trail into public ownership to guarantee unrestricted public access in perpetuity. The project is at a critical point, having already secured £152k grant funding, as your Cornwall Councillor I will fight tooth and nail to raise the remaining £38k in Grants needed .
Use my experience as a Parish Councillor to make sure our Parish Councils are listened to every time, putting locals first before politics.
Continue to address planning matters in an open, honest & transparent fashion, as I have done in Bude-Stratton Town Council (BSTC) where I am the Chair of the Planning Committee. I know this will be a very significant challenge for our communities, not least across the Poundstock ward over the next few years. I will bring my experience in planning matters to make sure our local voice is listened to above party politics, working together to make our communities sustainable and safe environment to be part of.
