We're still collecting donations

Help us purchase a new minibus to allow our young people with learning disabilities continue to access their work/volunteering placements
by TOC Community in Chichester, West Sussex, United Kingdom
On the 19th April 2024 we'd raised £20 with 1 supporters in 56 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Our mission is to provide inclusive, high quality support that allows our young people with learning disabilities to develop confidence, independence and all the key skills needed to successfully live, learn and work in their local communities. It is important that we allow our young adults to have the opportunity to demonstrate the positive contribution they can make to a community and for this to be fully recognised by that community. We have high aspirations for our young people so focus on working with local partners to create accessible and meaningful learning/work related activities in line with the young person's aspirations - giving the best chance of success in their chosen fields in the world work.
Our community partners are scattered around the district and therefore transporting our young people safely to their placements is crucial part of what we do. We are fortunate to have an old mini bus but it is regularly in the garage and we are not sure how much longer we can keep this on the road. It is also unfortunately not wheelchair accessible and this is something we want to resolve moving forward.
The cost of a new minibus is substantial and well beyond our current income - we are therefore looking for help that would allow us to eventually purchase a fully wheelchair accessible minibus. Thank you for considering our request for help!!
