To regenerate a very run down play garden for special needs children. With new all inclusive playground equipment and a new boundary fence

by Carolyn in Dumfries, Dumfries and Galloway, United Kingdom

Lincluden afterschool group is a charity that looks after up to 39 children. A lot of these children have special needs or disabled. My son Austin goes to the group and they are in desperate need of upgrading their outside garden area. The fence surrounding the garden was damaged during a recent storm and it has been patched up so many times. This after school group is in Lincluden which is part of Dumfries in Scotland. It is in quite a deprived area and is in need of some TLC I’m afraid. A lot of the children that attend the group are referred through Dumfries and Galloway social work. They also take children through the school holidays and at weekends so carers like myself can get respite. It has quite a large garden but it really needs updating with all inclusive playground equipment. And a new fence to make the garden safe and secure.
