From coaching to clothing
I’m fast learning that launching a new clothing brand is as tough as trying to return a Djokovic serve. But the £10K* I’m looking to crowdfund will go a long way to helping me do that.
*For context, that’s a bit less than the losers in the first round of qualifying got at last year’s Wimbledon!
In all my years of tennis coaching, I’ve seen fashions, styles and trends come and go. But I can honestly say that I’ve not been impressed by the quality of any tennis apparel.
Most of it is mass produced for matchplay / performance tennis with hideous hexagons, dreadful diagonals and bland blocks of colour On synthetic materials that are purely functional resulting in abject comfortability / joy to the wearer. There’s been precious little to get excited about, and hardly anything that’s unique and designed to appeal to tennis club members, tennis players & tennis followers/Lovers.
So I’ve done something about that. I’ve gathered a great team, and together we’ve designed unique, comfortable and stylish tennis apparel you can feel good about wearing wherever you are.
