This year has been a toughie for raising money for the Charlesworth School. No fun pantos, disco, fashion shows, the list is endless.These are unprecedented times but together, we are stronger, that's why FOCS have come up with a summer challenge for all families to get involved in.
Three-Peak Challenge!
This Summer, we are challenging all of the children in Charlesworth School to complete their own ‘Three-Peak walking challenge’!
The money raised from this event, which is detailed below, will be put towards improving the reading books in school. As fond as we all are of Biff, Chip, Kipper and Flopsy, we would love to offer the staff of our school the chance to purchase a wider variety of texts for the children.
The Children of Charlesworth have to:
⁃ select three ‘peaks’, which you would like to walk
⁃ gather sponsors for per metre/km/mile climbed above sea level
⁃ take a picture of your school jumper at each summit (or a picture of you wearing your school jumper at the summit)
⁃ send us a message on our Facebook page (Friends of Charlesworth School) to let us know the total distance you have walked above sea level in your three peaks
Lets get out into the hills and enjoy the beauty, which we are so lucky to call home
