More Mead update.
Apologies for such a long time for an update.
The More Mead Company Ltd has been folded and Oliver Bainbridge and myself have parted company as business partners.
I have re-started from scratch as A sole proprietor and will be moving forward on my own.
I have already spoken to some of the good folks who back the crowdfunding at the higher options and I’ve worked out a way forward to recompense them for their generosity. I’ve now got sort out the rest of the backers.
Obviously there will be no party as there is no meadery to open right now. It’s still on the cards but the timeline has been extended by at least a year. I’m really, really sorry about this.
My plan is to honour the smaller pledges with session mead/T-shirts as soon as I am able. The current goal for me is to get the summers events and trading over, get myself back on to a sound financial footing and then plan ahead from there.
In the meantime I’ve gone ahead with a some pre-planned and arranged changes. More Meads own produced mead brand will now be ‘Valhalla Mead’ as it ties into a lot of events we do and our current market. This means new bottles and new branding being rolled out over the coming months.
The timeline for this to be finished is by the 1st of September. By then all the products should have their new labels/branding along with some new ones I’ve got that are now ready, including a sweet Damson mead.
Thank you so much for your patience in this. It didn’t all go according to plans but there is a plan moving forward.
All the best,
