The Metal Monocle is part of a national initiative launched by Music Venue Trust to prevent the closure of hundreds of independent music venues.
Our venue faces closure in the same way as many other grassroot venues. As we are a small independent company, we don't have the cash reserves to utilize during long periods of closure to pay the bills & to make sure our staff & loyal guests have a music venue to return too.
Your donations will be used to ensure that we are able to continue providing a venue which showcases the very best in live music across all alternative rock & punk genres both local, national, international from cover bands, tributes & new music from up-&-coming bands.
If we hit our target, and we can prevent the closure of our venue, everything above the amount we need will be donated to the Music Venue Trust GMV Crisis Fund to protect other venues just like ours, right across the country.
We ask project owners to honour their rewards wherever possible but please note that all pledges are donations and there is no guarantee that you will receive any rewards from the project owner. Please see our Terms of Use for more information regarding rewards for pledges.
