I will be doing this on the 30th of January,From one end of my street to the other i will be going back and forth 131 times which will roughly take me 9 hours if i do it all in one go.
Reasoning
Lock down has been hard on all of us, being locked in our homes, shut from the outside world with nothing to do. I wanted to change this,
Personally i'm not a very active person however by doing this I want to improve myself and be a better me. I will be going at my own pace,one day i want to run the London marathon but i'm no where near in that great of shape. This is nothing in comparison to the great feats of others but it's a start, if you never start, you'll ever get to where you want to be, so hopefully this will get people more active and motivated to do something towards something they don't think is reachable.
I've struggled with motivation the majority of my life, giving up on dreams and hobbies because i never thought i could make it and stopped. I want to change my mindset and this is the first step in doing so.
Yewstock
I want to do this not just for myself but to help others. hence why i am raising money for Yewstock school in Sturminster Newton.
Yewstock School is a day community school for children with profound and multiple (PMLD) , Severe (SLD), Moderate (MLD) or complex learning difficulties.
Some children have additional sensory or physical impairments, speech and language disorders or medical needs, others are statemented as being within the autistic spectrum. All of our young people have an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) which is reviewed regularly. The school provides for 160 children and students between the ages of 2 and 19 years and one of those being my sister Scarlett.
Scarlett
My sister Scarlett is 13 with High frequency autism, mild epilepsy, ADHD and other special needs. She means the world to me and i don't know who and where i'd be without her. Yewstock school has been there since almost day 1 supporting her and my family and I cant thank them enough. From barely being able to speak to now reading her favorite books together word for word out loud truly makes me a proud brother and they are one of the main reasons for that.
Any money you can donate to the cause is appreciated, the money will be going to a great cause and keep many students happy, thanks to everyone who donates.
