Hi, I’m Rebecca, and along with my family, we’re bringing to life The Velvet Chapter — a dream come true and a special place for the people of Worksop and beyond.
The Velvet Chapter will be a warm, inviting coffee shop located inside Worksop train station. But it’s not just any coffee shop. It’s a sanctuary for travelers rushing through their day, a quiet corner where you can pause, breathe, and feel at home. It’s a place where the love of books and the comfort of quality coffee meet to create moments of calm and joy.
Every journey can be stressful and tiring. Whether you’re commuting to work, visiting family, or heading off on an adventure, The Velvet Chapter aims to be the comforting stop that recharges you with good coffee, nourishing food, and the peaceful escape of a good book. We want to support and uplift our community—offering a little magic and connection amid the bustle of travel.
As a family business, we pour our hearts into every detail, creating a space filled with warmth and care, just like the feeling of coming home.
But to bring this vision to life, we need your help. Your support will fund the cozy vintage décor, quality coffee equipment, bookshelves filled with stories, and the creation of a welcoming space where every visitor feels cared for.
