Hello, my name is Serhii, and I am Ukrainian. My life changed on February 24, 2022, when Russia attacked Ukraine. In the first month of the war, I took my wife and son to Great Britain. I arrived in England in December 2023. During this time, I learned a lot about the British people, their culture, traditions, and preferences. I was deeply impressed by the warm and understanding way the people of Britain welcomed and helped Ukrainians. I feel a profound calling to express my gratitude to the people of Great Britain.
I am 34 years old and have been a businessman in Ukraine all my life. Having been in the UK for over six months, I had a very exciting idea. I want to open pubs-shops offering draft craft beer with the option to take it away. While England has a lot of good and tasty beer, it is often spread across various locations, making it inconvenient to visit different breweries, especially if you are driving.
My idea is to create a place offering more than 20 different craft beer brands from various breweries. There will also be a wide selection of bottled beers from around the UK and the world. This establishment will be a pub and a shop with a takeaway option. You can come and taste all the beers available in the pub or simply buy and take away to enjoy at your favorite place with friends, family, or while watching football.
This will be more than just a place to buy beer; it will be a community hub where you can:
- Learn everything about beer and the brands we offer on a professional level.
- Join a beer club and be the first to taste new products at exclusive members-only meetings.
- Join or create your own darts team.
- Organize various events, both private and public.
- Order delivery of your favorite beer at a convenient time.
- Save money, as our prices will be lower than other pubs.
- Receive special discounts (-5%, -10%, -15%, and -20%).
- Collaborate with other participants to create your own brand of beer.
- Enjoy a delicious and extensive range of craft draft beer.
- Buy a variety of interesting beer snacks (nuts, chips, cheese, sausages, dried fish, fried squid, crackers, garlic bread, beer sticks, pistachios, mozzarella sticks).
- Become part of this global project, where a personalized glass will be waiting for you at your individual place.
- Leave your signature and a personal item in our pub, making you a part of this project forever. You, your friends, relatives, children, and grandchildren will come to this place and share how you helped create it!
- Taste other drinks such as cider, whiskey, wine, gin, and more.
For Ukrainians, it will be a special support hub. If a Ukrainian needs help with anything, from work to counseling, they will receive it here.
The first location is planned for Oxfordshire, with at least three pubs-shops opening in the first two years. Then, we will start a franchise and open more pubs. Within five years, we aim to have a pub-shop in every county, totaling at least 200 locations throughout Great Britain.
I am not alone in this project; there are both Ukrainians and British who love this idea and want to be part of it.
Unfortunately, I do not have the funds to implement this project, so I decided to use crowdfunding for the first time in my life. I am passionate about this project and eager to realize other interesting ideas in the future. I want to contribute positively and do something wonderful for the people of Great Britain, because you are incredible!
