The trash eating trash bag
Not quite
Unfortunately this project was not successful.

I want to invent a trash bag that has enzymes inside the liner that will eat the trash thrown inside. In an effort to save our planet.

As I walk my dog I am surrounded by garbage.   Most tossed snack and drink packages.   Even if I pick it up, that doesn’t mean the trash is gone.  It’s simply moved to another part of the planet.  To sit and soak into the soil and water ways.   I want to develop a bag that has a safe for the plant enzyme that will either work alone or with the sun to cause the quick, safe and efficient breakdown of our trash.   Less than 10% of water bottles are recycled.  Due to the needed foil giving snacks a long shelf life, most packages are not recyclable.  Despite us being told they are.  The majority of people throw stuff away with the general waste because in their minds, if they can’t see it, it’s not a problem.  But it is.   We have altered our DNA and we all now have microplastics inside us.   This is not only disgusting and shocking but it is the reality of our own actions.  Something needs to be done.  We can not change people or their lifestyle habits.  But, what if we could combat their actions forcing them to do nothing differently but, to buy a different trash / bin bag.
