The TCS mini London Marathon
We did it
On 20th May 2024 we successfully raised £835 ( + est. £166.25 Gift Aid ) with 32 supporters in 28 days

The children at Chestnuts Primary school have had their playground decommissioned and urgently need a safe space to play sport outside.

On the 20th April 20 children from Chestnuts primary ran the tcs London mini marathon. Together with their headmistress Mrs Horwood, they embarked on a speedy mile long course alongside over 17,000 children. They ran with pride and huge smiles on the iconic course, finishing on the Mall. They all completed the course with very impressive times.

The children are fundraising to have a multi-use games area (MUGA) built in their playground. Unfortunately their play equipment was recently condemned by the council and they are without a fit for purpose area to play. A MUGA would allow them to play sports all year round. Please give generously to reward their incredible efforts.

Alongside other fundraising, the children need to raise £10,000, which will be matched by sport England funding to give them the £20,000 needed to build the MUGA.
