Set up in 2013 after the murder of Leanne Mcnuff and Linzi Ashton we have been working with and supporting victims of abuse ever since. Each year we help thousands of men, women and children to find peace in a world they have suffered trauma. We offer an advice and guidance service, attending police stations, courts, hospital and other appointments with professionals. Also offering counselling and Trauma informed coaching both 1 to 1 and in courses to help make positive changes and empower people to understand healthy relationships.
Each Christmas we provide presents for close to 500 children and food to 40 families ensuring those who have fled from abusive homes do not have to worry about Christmas.
We have won Charity of the year for Salford and our CEO won PRide of Manchester 2022, and volunteer of the year for Salford in 2018. Kellie Ryan has one the Mayors award and our charity has come runners up in a number of Charity recognition awards.
We have a helpline available 7 days a week and an outreach service ensuring people in need can be given emergency supplies of food, clothing and furniture.
Our hub is at risk of closing due to lack of funding and we meet here daily for drop ins, courses, counselling, therapy and coffee mornings. WE need support to keep the hub open.
