The Sunnywood Project is a non-profit arts and nature education consultancy / provider and outdoor events organiser.
Combining arts and nature, we promote a love of the great outdoors through a variety of events, conservation and educational programmes stimulating a mentally and physically healthy lifestyle for those living in the North West and surrounding areas.
Through each of these activities and bespoke programmes, we nurture individual confidence and resilience to equip participants with the transferable skills needed for success in life - we are committed to assisting individuals to realise their own potential.
Funding generated through our Honeycomb fundraiser will be used to establish our youth programme.
This programme of events will be aimed at combating the negative effects of Covid-19 for young people ranging 8-16 years.
The aims and objectives of the programme will be to reduce isolation and loneliness, prevent inactivity, boost mental and physical wellbeing, prevent crime, improve engagement with education, improve family and social relationships and improve the local community.
The youth programme will involve outdoor activities, sports, nature conservation, local heritage and education to create a lasting positive change for the young people of today.
