The SORN Foundation

The Sorn Foundation (Equality and Education for women and children) is a charity based in Cambodia. It was established to promote the total empowerment and development of women and children in rural Cambodia to escape poverty by delivering education, basic skills and community development programmes.
The Sorn Foundation is an independent charity non-profit which seeks to reduce the high levels of Violence Against Women (VAW) in Cambodia, by empowering the women and children with grass roots education and training programmes such as Khmer and English education packages, basic skills, women's rights and parenting. We will organize sustainable living programmes, growing vegetables, and raising livestock. We will also operate a community enterprise hub providing mentoring and support for personal and business development.
The Sorn Foundation is directed by Nicola Clements and Somphors Sorn with the aim of empowering women and children living within Rural Cambodia.
