Hello, I'm Matt Brinkley, an inclusive exercise trainer and social entrepreneur. 12 Months ago I turned an unused office space within a gym into an engaging sensory space for young people to access safe and meaningful physical activity.
Sensory Gyms is a project of our not for profit organisation - Making Fitness Accessible. Our mission is to create physical activity opportunities for the most marginalised communities.
12 Months on, the room is being used regularly by families and health professionals and it's time to develop the space further.
As a not for profit organisation, a balance needs to be found between core operating costs and service costs. We would like to reduce service costs as much as possible and provide affordable access to more young people and their families.
To do so and therefore cementing our sustainability for years to come we would like to raise funds for our core operating costs (rent, bills and equipment maintenance).
1-to-1 Sensory Gym fees are currently £25 per user. We want to bring this down to £10 and under.
Thank you for your generous contribution.
