General Terms
- This prize draw is organised and promoted by the Bravo-Hibberd family to raise funds for Samuel Bravo-Hibberd’s brain cancer treatment outside of the NHS. For updates, kindly follow his crowdfunding page: https://gofund.me/f85273b5
-By entering the prize draw, entrants are deemed to have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions and agrees to be bound by them-Upon entering the prize draw, all entrants must submit all contact details requested by the organiser/promoter (which must include a valid e-mail address) which will be used for the following purposes:
(a) to notify the winner that they have won the prize;
(b) to post the winner’s name and county of residence on the Crowdfunder website and other platforms where the prize draw was advertised / promoted; and
(c) to comply with the Privacy Policy.
-All entrants are solely and completely responsible for providing the organiser/promoter with accurate and current contact details. Any changes to the entrant’s details must be notified to the organiser/promoter before the closing date. No liability is taken by the promoter for entrants not providing a change of details for communicating with the winner or contestants at anytime.-The organiser/promoter will be in no way liable for any failure or inability to make contact with any entrant due to any errors, omissions or inaccuracies in the contact details provided by the entrants or otherwise.
How to Enter
- Entries received after the competition closing date will not be accepted. No liability will be accepted by the organiser/promoter for any delays in the postal system.
- The prize draw has a free to enter option, please see details below for further information.
- This is an ALL or NOTHING draw. The main target has to be reached by the closing date for the draw to go ahead. If the target is not reached, all refunds will be given by Crowdfunder UK.
- The organiser/promoter accept NO responsibility for entries that are mislaid, damaged, delayed or lost in transit for any reason, including any postal system failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction or computer, software or network errors.
- The organiser/promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
Eligibility
- Our prize draw is open to UK residents over the age of 18 only excluding the organiser/promoter and their immediate family.
-An entrant is a natural person (not including a limited company, partnership or limited liability partnership) who enters the prize draw through the Crowdfunder website or by post to win the prize.
- There is no maximum limit on the number of PAID entries per person.
- By entering, you are confirming you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize if you are successful in winning.
- The organiser/promoter reserves the right to disqualify anyone whose conduct is in breach of the spirit of the competition. We would like to remind participants the aim of the prize draw and its cause. Please treat everyone involved with kindness and compassion.
The Draw
- A winner will be chosen by a Random Number Generator from all ticket numbers, on the 16th of February.
-The exact time of the entry closing and draw will be announced closer to the date above.
-The random number generator will be set between 0 and the total number of tickets purchased/entered. The draw will be filmed and live streamed on Facebook and possibly another public platform to be confirmed closer to the date above. The link to this will be posted on the Crowdfunder website project page closer to the date above.
- The winner will be notified by email (using details provided at entry) within 5 working days of being chosen and must be able to attend in person to collect and claim their prize.
- The winner will have 5 working days to claim their prize by response via phone or email. If no response is received, the prize will be forfeited, and the organisers will have the right to draw a new winner following the process outlined above.
- The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and there is no cash alternative on offer.
- Any decisions made by the organiser/promoter on any matters relating to the prize draw or competition are final.
- The winner's name and county can be obtained on the Crowdfunder project website or other platforms used to promote the prize draw or by written request and sending a stamped addressed envelope to the PO box address below within 60 days of the prize draw closing.
– The organiser/promoter reserve the right to hold, void, suspend, cancel or amend the prize draw if and where it becomes necessary to do so.
-If the winner rejects their prize or the entry is invalid or in breach of these Terms and Conditions, the winner’s prize will be forfeited and the organiser/promoter shall be entitled to select another winner. The organiser/promoter’s decision is final.
Limitations of liability
– As such is permitted by law, the organiser/promoter will not, in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss (including economic loss), damage, disappointment, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize, except where it is caused by negligence of the organisers. Your statutory rights are not affected.
-The organiser/promoter accept no liability for errors or omissions contained within the prize details, description or specification or any other part of the website. It is the responsibility of each entrant (and in particular the winner) to satisfy him/herself as to the accuracy of any such details and/or any content of this prize draw/website before entering the prize draw.
-The prize will be collected as seen by the winner. The organiser/promoter will ensure that the car is in a reasonably clean and excellent driving condition upon handing it over to the prize winner. But the winner also needs to make its own assessment of the roadworthiness of the vehicle, review the vehicle documents provided and such an assessment and insurance of any kind as required to drive the vehicle awarded as the prize is not the responsibility of the organiser/promoter. By accepting the awarded car prize, the winner confirms its excellent condition and agrees to this clause and every other clause of the Terms and Conditions.
-The transfer of ownership / changing of registered keeper will all be done upon collection via the DVLA website.
-The winner is responsible for his/her own insurance in order to collect and drive the vehicle awarded as the prize.
-The winner of the car prize with existing manufacturer’s warranty as stated on the prize description will hold the manufacturer liable for its condition.
-The winner / winner’s designated driver of the car prize confirms that they are competent in operating / driving the car prize by collecting it.
-The organiser / current register keeper’s liability to the car prize ends after the transfer of ownership and upon collection.
-Once the prize is awarded the organiser promoter is not responsible or liable to the winner or Third Party for any loss, damage, forgeries, in any way.
-The organiser/promoter is not liable for any unforeseen circumstances relating to acts of god, war, strikes, or other similar events (‘events’) that are not in the control of the Promoter and any such events as weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure which affects the collection of the prize, or condition of the prize or the random draw or operation of the fundraising website. The entrant warrants that the organiser/promoter shall be held harmless and blameless of all such events outside of the control of the organiser/promoter. (The events list is not an exhaustive list).
-The winner is responsible for their own fees (including those of third parties who accompany the winner) and expenses for travel etc what so ever to collect the prize.
-The winner absolves the organiser/promoter of all liabilities as to the winner’s decision to enter the prize draw. Any entry shall be done at the sole discretion of the entrant and the organiser/promoter is not held liable to the winner or entrant in any way for the entrant’s decision to enter the competition.
-The entrant warrants that by paying the entry these Terms and Conditions have been read and that entry to the competition is at the sole discretion of the entrant and there has been no duress or undue influence upon the entrant in any way.
-The winner warrants a paid ticket or Entry is made by the entrant and not a third party. If a third party has made an entry for the winner, the prize will not be awarded and the winner and entry is disqualified and a further winner will be chosen. The organiser/promoter’s decision is final.
-As a condition of entering the prize find, entrants must ensure that, by doing so, they do not contravene any laws of their country of residence. The organiser/promoter will not be liable in any way if an entrants enters the prize draw unlawfully.
Data Protection and Publicity
– The organiser/promoter is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy and will only use your personal information in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.
– By entering the prize draw, you agree that any personal information provided by you with your entry may be held and used by the organisers / promoters and suppliers to administer the competition.
-The organiser/promoter is not liable for any data breach that occurs during transit of postal entries. We recommend using a reputable courier who strictly abides by GDPR laws especially in handling postcard type mails.
-Submitting your personal information you agree to the possibility of receiving communication from the organiser/promoter containing updates and developments of the fundraiser.
Governing Law
– All Prize Draws and competitions will be governed by English law and entrants to the draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
– The organiser/promoter reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions from time to time and any updated version will be effective as soon as it is published on the website.
Free Entry Route
-For free entry to the prize draw, please create a complete Crowdfunder account and send the following on an UNENCLOSED STAMPED POSTCARD:

• Date of birth
• Email (registered to account)
• Telephone number
• Statement confirming that you are a UK resident, over 18 years of age and that you agree to the terms & conditions.

-All postal entries must each be sent on an unenclosed stamped postcard. This is due to our PO Box mailbox account requirements.
-Entries should have clear and legible writing. If your entry is not clear and fully legible we will be unable to enter all of your details into our system and the entry will become void.
-Entries must be received by the organiser/promoter prior to the closing date. The organiser/promoter is not liable for any delays during transit.
-Once we receive your details we will process them onto our system before the competition closing date, no confirmation or notification will be sent for postal entries.
-Proof of delivery is not the organiser/promoter’s proof of receipt. If you need a proof of receipt, please contact the organiser/promoter directly.
-Postal entries are limited to one free entry per person or per household.
-Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
